National Standards for Grade Level 7-12

 

Students use the scientific process to type blood and analyze hair, fingerprints, handwriting, fabrics, and fibers. They use evidence, observation, experimentation, interpretation, personal profiling, and deductive reasoning to crack the case. Includes instruction manual with reproducible student worksheets. Additional items required but not included: microscopes, water bath, glass test tubes with stoppers or caps. Allow four one-hour periods to complete the six experiments and analyze and interpret the evidence. Designed for 24 students working in groups of four.
